Only evidence, real evidence, should be considered a sound basis on which to accept something as true.

What do we really know?

Looking at anything, do you really - really know it to be absolutely as it appears?

Isn't it true that our mind may be interpreting wrongly?

Isn't it better and actually liberating to say: This may or may not be so - I know that I don't know!

The closer one looks, the deeper this realisation gets.

How does anyone know something? Anything?

Perhaps only through direct experience in one's own personal self?

Certainly, not through anything someone else believes can it be known.

Maybe the best and most sane way to be is to stick with remaining open - acknowledging that one rarely really knows - and that only evidence, real evidence, should be considered as the only basis on which one accepts something as true.

Without this attitude, we become lost in belief, which is truly lost!
